Great surroundings almost medieval in style overlooking beautiful gardens. Had a quick spot of Lunch with linguini and gnocchi chosen. Both well balanced and tasty. Super rose and Pinot Gris to accompany.

Beautiful setting, BUT… Service was slow and unattentitive bordering on rude. Almost a walkout!

Wonderful Venue for a Wedding. I can only comment on Centennial Vineyards from the perspective of a wedding guest (I think that’s important to point out given the poor reviews given regarding their ordinary general service). Overall, my experience was a good one for a three course wedding dinner. I thoroughly enjoyed the canaps, including an oyster tower which I thought was a unique touch, their zucchini flowers for entree and the steak for main. The venue itself created a wonderful ambience and I thought the waitstaff were very attentive and prompt with refilling drinks. I would return based on my experience at Centennial Vineyards.

Monday Monday. What a disappointment, Monday lunch at Centennial. Service was so slow, staff seemed untrained, unaware and missing for long periods. Swordfish was tasteless. Bill was a shock!

Culinary bliss, a pity about the slovenly, inattentive staff though!. The food was lovely, but I couldn’t get past the filthy shirts and aprons of the wait staff. The two girls who served us looked like they hadn’t washed their blouses in weeks and were literally covered in brown stains. They also were rather inconsistent and hard to find when you did need something. Was also disappointed in our seating. I had booked three months in advance for a 30th birthday lunchand even though it was only for two we were put in a corner when tables were available on the open balcony. We were seated and had eaten our olive oil and bread, when we saw another table being offered balsamic vinegar, which we were not.The food was gorgeous when it came out and that’s the main thing, but probably won’t be rushing back considering the price and the fact the service didn’t warrant it.

Foregettable Lunch. Centennial has always been a special occassion restaurant for us & we went there with the family on Sunday.Never again — with the change of ownership/chef/s & menu, introduction of a $3 cover charge PP on top of very expensive main meals & penny piching we shall not be back — e.g. the dipping bread came without balsamic vinegar & not avaialable & who has heard of a cheese & fruit platter having one cheese & raisin toast provided instead of crackers?Yes the steak main was good but for $45 if should be.They have lost us & our extended familiy.

Outstanding. What a find! The restaurant overlooks the vineyards and on a sunny day, there are few better spots to down a glass of wine with some meticulously prepared food. I had an entree of pan-fried scallops with green apple and a curry vinegarette. The waitress said that they were seared when asked. Minus 1 point. The dish itself was a generous size for such a fine establishment and perfectly balanced with the sauce having a creamy consistency yet runny and delicate enough not to over power the well seaoned scallops. The roasted kingfish main with caponata and rarebit crust was smash-the-ball-out-of-the-ballpark tasty.
