Eating here was a mistake. The food was basically leftover BBQ scraps on a plate. We ordered a $60 grazing plate and the food on it looked like the scraps after a BBQ. Go there at you own risk but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The tapas is great here. The setting is very cosy and the staff are friendly. A good mix of modern Australian and Spanish cuisine. The only issue we have had was with dessert.

Very disappointing, it didn’t live up to the recommendation.. I dined here a few weeks ago with my partner and my parents, having been there a couple of times previously my parents had only good things to say about it.Firstly, on a night when the restaurant was only half full it took 10 minutes from the time we were seated to get menus, they finally got around to taking a drinks order which again took some time to arrive at the table. The tapa were good from all reports, i was the only one not t to have something to start.I’m not a vegetarian but opted for the kumara, quinoa and chick pea dish as it read well on paper.Big mistake! It was if not the worst dish, close to that i have ever been offered in a ‘decent’ restaurant.A luke warm kumara puree, indistinguishable quinoa with a few chick peas scattered through it, mesculun lettuce, a couple of chunks of tomato and balsamic.I’ve been cooking professionally for 20 years, that dish is something a first year apprentice puts up for staff meal not something that should be offered up to paying customers. It showed a complete lack of care factor, skill and love.To have the audacity to cost that dish at basically the same price as the rest of the protein based dishes on the menu is just wrong, it shows a lack of understanding from the kitchen as to how your menus should be constructed and priced accordingly. At least make it an amazing dish, one that is actually representative of the price and not the pathetic excuse that it was.Very rarely will i ever say anything if i didn’t enjoy something, i’ll just never go back but on this occasion i had to.I voiced my opinion to one of the guys on the floor, he conceded that given they are a meat based restaurant that there is very little care factor is put into producing dishes for those that choose to eat non meat based dishes.Clearly evident!Guess what guys, vegetarians are paying customers too.Ones that deserve to be have options in line with the rest of your menu available to them.My parents enjoyed their dishes, my girlfriend not so much complaining that her braised pork belly in ‘master stock’ was very heavy in the fish sauce department.I didn’t taste it so i can’t comment but maybe the kitchen needs a re-think on some of the things they are producing.

Fabulous meal. Tapas were amazing taste sensations. Loved the caparccio venison with fennel, blood orange and chocolate. Mains were very generous, innovative and tasty. Service was exemplary and atmosphere in restaurant great. Highly recommend
