Cheap meal and take away options. Abundance of topping and the quality tasted like take away pizza i.e. dominoes not gourmet. Thankful that it was open during summer holidays.

Colosseum Pizza & Ribs BowralPrices are different from online menu to phone ordering menu. Manager attitude was not satisfactory on the count that he hung up on me when asking when my order would be arriving after 4 phone calls with appalling service our order was cancelled by the rude manager, one of the staff members replaced our order it arrived in 30 minutes so to get our order we waited 2.5 hours for our food to arrive NOT SATISFIED!!! (Won’t be going back to colosseum) Rather go to dominos with 20 minute delivery and cheaper food!

With a large takeaway patronage, it has the vibe of an old American/Italian takeout shop with coincidental dine in option. The pizzas seem most popular so we ordered one 8 slice pizza and a ribs combo meal. The ribs and wings were good as were the wedges but the corn on the cob was over cooked and soggy. The pizza was tasty with a good sauce and crispy electric oven baked base like you might get at chain pizza shops . I would prefer this pizza over chain store options though. We also ordered a milkshake and icecream which were reasonable. They do have a 24 square slice colossal pizza if you are catering for a crowd.

Really interesting menu with some great flavour combinations. We had a regular Euro Calzone and a serve of garlic bread, which was plenty to feed two of us. The calzone had a very generous serve of cheese and came with delicious tzatziki on the side. Would have liked to see a bit more lamb meat in it though. Also had some gelato which was great.I think it may have come under new management recently?? Nonetheless, we really enjoyed it. 🙂

We spent a late afternoon wandering through the streets of Bowral on 18 January. It was quite possibly one of the hottest days this summer so we decided to stop by for a scoop (or two) of gelato. I ordered the Hazelnut and Biscottino (a version of cookies’n’cream) while Dad chose a gorgeous Raspberry and Mango. Both were delicious! I really enjoyed how bright and pink the raspberry flavour was. The Hazelnut was smooth and creamy with a gorgeous, buttery, nutty flavour. The Biscottino could have done with a bit more choc bikkie pieces. It was a warm afternoon and unfortunately the freezers weren’t standing up to the heat. The gelato was still quite firm despite this. Service was friendly and efficient. brendonthesmilingchef.com

Bad pizza, long wait. We waited an hour after being served by rude people and the pizza was horrible. much rather go to pizza hut.
