On our first morning in Bowral this was the place that took out fancy. We scoured the other Cafes on offer and settled on Plate Pleasure as it looked the goods. We sat outside and were greeted by a friendly waitress who took our coffee orders. The menu covered all bases and our table ordered the Bircher Muesli, Big Breaky and Scrambled Eggs w Avo and Bacon. The meals were good with my Bircher Muesli being the pick. Plenty of nuts and topped with a berry compote and yoghurt. The coffees were excellent too which is why we will return soon.Great looking spot that gets super busy and for good reason!

Overall, the experience can be better. The service didn’t really know where to place our orders on the table. It also needs to be cleaned a bit. I saw some silverfish crawling out of the tea/coffee tin. The burger was bland but the salad was quite tasty.

Popped in for a quick coffee around 2.30pm. This place always seems to be busy every time we have drove past. I think its due to their outdoor seating getting a lot of sunlight! And who wouldn’t want that in winter. Most of the seating seems to be squished together, in order to get maximum seats in. Sat ourselves down to an empty table, then i walked up to the counter to order some coffee and browse the cakes they had on offer. Got told that it was table service and that someone would come and take our order. Sat down and waited for about 5 minutes and then had to flag down a waitress to take our coffee order. No cakes as we didn’t know what they had on offer. Good coffee though. They had a guy on his guitar playing some sweet tunes. Good for food & coffee in the sun, apart from that average.

Long established and good solid cafe in Bowral. Service is always of a high professional and friendly standard. Food was well presented and the home made soup was a treat.

Reasonable.Good service, quality food, nice coffee, seating inside and outside. We sat inside and was 1/3 full. Heard waiter telling a larger group with children not to move one table. Seemed a little excessive when no one was sitting in that area. Would be much more convenient for family, they were mocking the fact that the area they selected was private and empty, bad start to the service and experience. We enjoyed our time.

Great Breakfast. Drove down from Camden to Bowral to have a look on a wet March morning. Stopped in by chance and absolutely loved it. Service was prompt and friendly. We ordered the Morrocan eggs and the Corn & Zucchini Frittas and both were fantastic, especially the eggs. Breakfast arrived within 15 minutes of ordering. Coffee was good but a little slow arriving to the table. Will be back

Expensive, disappointing and mediocre. Being a local to the area and wanting to support the local businesses, I decided to give it a go. The location is quite nice and relaxing in the early afternoon sun. Most of the staff are quite friendly however service is slow. The menu is limited and sounds exciting but the reality is underwhelming. Prices are ridiculous. To eat here is more expensive than table service in Sydney CBD. A mediocre sandwich will set you back $17.00 for example. We ordered the fish and chips and the lentil filo roll. Both were tiny portions, they were $20 each (crazy). A large coffe was $5. A can of coke was $4.50! Nuts. The fish and chips were over fried. The filo roll was bland, dry and lacking in oomph and the accompanying pumpkin salsa was tasteless. The coffee was okay although they really struggled to make a ristretto. Usually I don’t mind paying for a babycino…. But $2.50 is rude. Some of the staff were lovely, others rude. They say they offer full table service but don’t as they do not bring the bill to you. The service is okay for an everyday cafe but not for one that has mains priced at $20 a plate. Would I recommend it to a friend? Absolutely not. Would I ever go again? Absolutely not. Would I recommend it to my worst enemy? Absolutely.
