Overall, food was alright, although the garlic naan was quite nice. Honestly, I prefer tandoori chicken from woolies more. Service was friendly but terribly slow. Fortunately we had complimentary pappadam to nibble on.

Shiva where do I start maybe the time it took 1 and a half hours for our food to arrive cold and fatty. Next we order there and the delivery drivers car suspiciously broke down, When our pizzas arrived they were burnt and the garlic breads tasted like the had been in the freezer for months. My son went to bed hungry because they were inedible and they refused to bring something else around. Would definitely not recommend.

Mitta…dontgothere…gong. Firstly we arrived at nine p.m. hoping to still get a table inside. We were told that takeaway was the only option. It took around 30 minutes for our food to arrive which seemed a little long. We had to go back to get plastic cutlery as none was included, only to be given two spoons and no serviettes. We had nowhere to eat in the small town so we sat directly out front of the shop in the car, awkwardly spooning our sloppy curry onto so called roti which looked more like the naan we ordered also. Meanwhile the Neon open sign flashed away whilst we peered through the window at the well lit tables full of nobody…We came to conclusion that we could be inside comfortably eating our food at a table if it were not for the lazy service. The food was average. Maybe it was the fact that plastic tea spoons don’t fair well when eating on a car seat or the crappy bread like substance used to mop up our mushy green substance they called saag paneer. We will not be returning to the wonderfully empty Shiva Restaurant on out next trip to Mittagong.Indianadont!

Absolutely hands down the best Butter Chicken!

Great restaurant. We bumped into this restaurant during a trip to Mittagong about a year ago. The Indian food, aromas and ambience are dreamy. The service is personal and friendly. Cheap, BYO. The home-made tamarind sauce is especially awesome!
