We came here on a road trip stopover and sat outside with our dog. The menu is simple but works well with the layout and vibe of the inn/pub. The dishes were a bit hit and miss. The chicken parmy was huge in portion and delicious. The chicken burger and chips was delicious and filling. The pork burger was slightly dry and the pork was over cooked and hard. The garlic bread was like rock and I couldn’t bite through it. Calamari disappointing and very small portion for its price.
Less than satisfactory. Accommodation is small and dirty, beds not made properly or sheets changed regularly, probably because there are no employed cleaners/housekeeping, just whoever owns it.Meals are overpriced and take a ridiculous amount of time to come out for a small place, order mix ups and forgotten parts of meals are very often and they don’t allow certain foods to be ordered without ordering a main.Young staff are not treated well from what I have seen and heard, yelling at one in particular to embarrass them, who has since been fired for no reason. They do not pay their staff for trials or after they randomly fire them, and are overall negative people to deal with. Do not recommend wasting your time or money at such a place.
Old sandstone inn, bistro in newer section , not much character, but might be good in the daytime with views of the garden. Standard pub meals. Bit expensive for what it was.
Lots of charm. Gorgeous pub with a lot of character, very glad we stopped for a lazy 2pm Sunday lunch. $20ish mains, price suits the quality and size. I had a beef and Guinness pie (daily special), very tasty and the meat melted when pulled apart. Perfect!
