I got the Lebanese Breaky and that was a massive let down. I am unsure how they can charge on the higher side of their menu for a meal which is majority just sliced raw tomato, raw cucumber, dollop of yoghurt, raw olives and some bread which was dry and really oily sausages. Massive let down and I did not even finish my meal as it was that bad.Albeit the above, my friend got a different breakfast meal and he said it was brilliant though? The coffee wasn’t too bad though but I have had better elsewhere.
Sam: Been here few times specially when I have veggie clients with me. one of the few places that has good vegan options. coffee is good. I am not a sweets guy personally so I didn’t love the food. but I can see my companions where singing the place praises. goodtasteguide.blogspot.com
Been here a few times, the staff are great and so too is the coffee. I just wish you guys were open for dinner! The menu is fantastic with a great range of foods to cater for all, it’s good to see there are a few options for vegetarians. The desserts are also amazing – go the cromuffin!
Everytime we are here, we go to El Burgers and then come by after to grab a coffee. So decided to come and try the food here too. The staff are great here, I always tend to go for a beef burger whenever I’m trying out a cafe I’ve never been to. The beef patty was juicy and had great flavours and had plenty of sauce to compliment it. A pulled pork burger and fish (barramundi) and chips were also ordered and the conclusion was food here is great! Also found out the other day that they serve lactose free milk too.
This afternoon around 3.45ish my husband decided to try out coffee at this cafe place. When we got there at 3.50, the guy said he could only serve take away as they were closing at 4 pm. There were few customers sitting and enjoying their coffee, we placed our order for one hot choc and 1 cappuccino and went to sit at the table for 2. This same guy who seemed to be in a great rush to close down the shop, asked us to sit at another table on the side as they were cleaning up the place. We decided to stand and wait till our coffees were ready. I saw this same guy going around the other tables to collect the money whilst they were sitting and engaged in chat or sipping coffee. Anyway, the outcome, the worst hot chocolate ever, they put some syrup and the coffee too tasted very standard. (hot choc didn’t look anything like the photo above). They just lost two customers and word of mouth, they are too busy cleaning and packing away rather than attending to customers. this is the first time ever I thought of writing a review.
French toast was barely passable, lacked any real favour other than sweetness. Light on fruit to balance out the syrup and not convinced sour dough as per the menu was the base. Happy with the coffee though.
Absolutely terrific place, service is fantastic, coffee is great. The food. Now that’s something! Amazing menu, delicious! can’t talk highly enough of it. Try the Moroccan chicken. You’ll be amazed!
