We stayed here due to Jetstar fault. The food was nice and came out in a timely manner. Prices range from $25-$35. I had the barra and potatoes which was cooked well. My husband enjoyed his burger with a generous serve of chips.
We boarded into Quality Hotel on the day of landing in Sydney and were served a complementary breakfast on account of staying here.It is more of the usual run off the mill breakfast consisting of the tried and tested formula of toasted bread and butter, corn flakes, baked beans, egg, salads, fruit juices and a bunch of muffins. On taste also they went along expected lines with nothing really outstanding nor anything being really terrible. The food is placed neatly and works on the buffet concept where you have to pick what you want. Nothing much on the ambiance front as it’s just a clean hall with a few tables placed within.Overall, not a bad place to dine if you’re staying at the hotel.
First day in Sydney, but too tired to venture out, so I thought Id give the Motel Restaurant a go. Staff were friendly and took orders of drinks and food. But interestingly I was never given any water, or asked if I wanted water during the whole meal. The wine I ordered wasnt in stock so had to choose again, and ended up with a New Zealand SB; never can go wrong with those! I had the grilled barramundi with lemon butter sauce, summer salad and chips. The barramundi, as the chef told me, was from Darwin, and good it was. Never had this happen either with the chef coming out to ask all the guests if everything was ok. I loved the lemon butter sauce; it packed lots of citrus and made the dish. Chips were done well and were fresh. I loved the healthy nicely dressed salad too. All in all, a good hearty and flavoursome meal, in probably a place you wouldnt normally go.
