I wouldn’t really rate this place. Had the xiao long bao. The dough where it’s pinched on the top is still raw. I could see flour particles. The dough is thick and the meat is tough. Had the dumplings in peanut sauce and it was the same thing. It was tasty however the quality is sub par. Prices is on the lower end however you get what you pay for.
I love dumplings, so between 4 people, we ordered 8 different dumpling dishes. Definitely not the best dumplings Ive had but it was alright. Food was served extremely quickly and were of good portion. The complimentary tea however was quite diluted. Service was standard for a causal asian eatery. Note: there is small amounts of seating in the store. There was a long queue by the time we left at 8PM.
Authentic and fresh shanghainese food. Definitely gives taste of shanghai a run for its money. Quick service and almost always busy! Give this place a try you wont regret it.
