In spite being an Indian, Saudi Arabia and UAE has been my home since like forever. And the food there is life. Alaseel makes me miss that Arabic food in Australia very less. A tad to the expensive side but worth it.
A touch expensive for the lunch time mixed plate. Service was good. The coffee was also good but not excellent. I found the seat (lounge) uncomfortable.
Yum after yum after yum! This place is awesome. It has a great atmosphere too, with dancing ladies coming out throughout the night. Will be back!
Over priced for average quality food. Lamb was dry and tough, chicken missed the mark in true middle eastern favour. Vegetarian mixed plate a waste of money. Seems all restaurants with this name are the same, even those located in Sydney. Will not be returning to this chain of restaurant.
Beautiful addition to Fairy Meadow. Went on a dinner date with my partner, this restaurant was versatile and wonderfully presented. It sits on a major corner so is easy to find with plenty of parking. Close to supermarkets so well worth the visit if planning to have some food after groceries with the family. I was impressed with food but it is only my first time eating middle eastern food, so it may also be a good place to go for first time eaters. Beautiful interior and professional wait staff. My only criticism is during busy hours the acoustics is just terrible and you can hear every single voice in that room.. not a great place to have a conversation.
Happy Eating to You!. Sunday evening and we were there for a birthday do for a good friend. I love the falafel served here, yummy strong in taste but well done. The Lebanese beer was smooth and easy.We had spring rolls that reminded me of Chinese ones. The entree was stimulating, with four different dips on a platter. I had my first taste of a pickled okra. Best dish in my eyes was the chicken, grilled to perfection and accompanied with an outstanding gravy. I hardly have had coffee from the Middle East – Al Aseel has a more delicate blend than Turkish ones. Staff are quick and friendly, especially the bar guy and the dessert staff. The venue is spacious with modern settings – I like the lighting. best of all, my group learned how to sing Happy Birthday in a new jazzy Beirut inspired tune.
