Usually get the pork ribs with chips, and they are usually very good. Have had them a bit chewy once but the other times the meat has fallen off the bone.
What a best deal we had, $45 for 5 big bone ribs, 300gr rump steak and a baked potato with selected sauce. I shared these with husband and still we couldnt eat all of it. Ribs were good but not so fall-off the bone i need to struggle to chew it. Steak okay that’s hubby’s, he asked for medium rare and it was. We also ordered kangaroo skewers in the sake of my curiosity of kangaroos meat.
Good vibe, good service, good food! Service was prompt on a Saturday night, and wait staff extremely helpful and accommodating. Very relaxing and enjoyable experience

Expensive and poor choice of food and wine. If you like a choice of expensive steak, steak, ribs and more steak, this might be place for you.Likewise if you want nothing at all with it unless you order a side.A side is fine, but you normally get something with the main. On top of very expensive steaks and ribs, we had to pay $24 just for a salad to add something to the meals. The worst insult though, was needing to pay $8 just for a sauce for your steak. I eat out at a lot of restaurants in Melbourne, and I have never come across this; even in expensive restaurants.The fillet I had was cooked properly, but the quality of the meat was ordinary; certainly not worth the price we paid. The ribs were great but again, very expensive for what you were given.The selection of food and wine was pretty limited. There were only about five reds to choose from; all from wineries that were not well known.At first we liked the setup, with nice decor and the restaurant spreading out on to the footpath. What we came to dislike was the constant stream of noisy, smelly utes, SUVs and four-wheel drives that accelerated away from the stop sign right in front of the tables on the footpath.I wouldn’t go back there.
Everything was just DELICIOUS!. We went here last night and I have to say I really loved the rib sauce used. A group of six girls who were not afraid to order 🙂 we enjoyed a selection of pork ribs, beef ribs, peri peri chicken, 1/2 chicken and salads and the serving were huge and everything was delicious. The cocktails and house wines were delicious also and a must. The chips were great and the dipping sauces yummy too. We ordered a few desserts and shared and they were equally as good as our meal. Notes to all…. leave room for dessert 😉 Will definitely go back when next in Wollongong to try more items off the menu. Thanks Char Char!
Kitsch and funky inside, bit of a wind tunnel outside (but blinded off) – we sat inside.We ate nibble plates on our visit – food was cooked perfectly and was tasty. garlic sauce was great (garlic is very important to me). The recommended South African beer was good. Great selection of whiskies on the shelf.Overall it was a bit pricey, but the quality food and service was commensurate. Another feather in Wollongongs cap. Will go again
