This place (I reckon) is not easy to find if I didn’t have GPS with me. The second time lucky while I’m in Wollongong, I found it! I’ve tried the white vegetables soup on their special menu and a fat boy (Wagyu beef) burger on their normal menu. They are both delicious! Their sweet potato chips are so nice and crunchy! Make sure you don’t miss out on that side with the burger 😉

Killer American-style burgers, probably the best in the Illawarra, good rotating tap beers from local breweries with other options by the bottle.Great atmosphere, a great mix of old school and new school tunes, ranging from hip hop to soul to blues.Would definitely recommend.

His Boy Elroy is undoubtedly one of the greatest burger joints to come out of Wollongong. My favourite is the Heisenburg-er, the chicken is fried to perfection and the sauce is absolutely mouthwatering. The sweet potato wedges are literally the best I have ever had and the cocktail range is impressive. I recommend washing down your burger with a cup of purple drank.Fantastic ambience and staff are super friendly. You won’t be disappointed.
I usually do a lot of research when going away but given its Xmas time and most places are closed anyway, I left it to chance and decided to work it out as I go. Found this place and was very very pleased. Excellent burgers. Mine was medium rare (so many places can’t or won’t do medium rare even if requested!), with lots of flavour and it was just juicy juicy juicy. The other burger (chicken and pork) were also popular. The sweet potato fries were excellent. Probably one of the better ones I’ve had and definitely a crowd pleaser. The nachos were rather pathetic and the fries dismal. Given how crunchy they got the seer potato fries, not sure why the chips were soft and mushy. Anyway, the burgers were so fantastic we were willing to overlook the other shortcomings. Definitely the place to grab good burgers when in town.
