Went to this cafe as unfortunately my dad was in the Wollongong hospital which is across the road. Interesting cafe decor, yes those are ties on the ceiling… This is home to the largest scone I’ve ever had the pleasure to eat. I thought it would be dry but it was buttery and yum, served warm and with jam and butter. We ate there again the next day, decent chicken wraps and hot tea just the ticket to warm up. A world apart from the offerings within the hospital. Service friendly and prices not bad.

Pros:*A lot of effort has gone into the design of this place – from it’s music to the walls and furniture and lighting. Tables are designed to be shared unless you are super solo then they have benches. Very funky. *The have a good range of food selections to keep almost anyone happy. Great slow cooked meat/stews for lunch, tasty quick sangas. * GREAT coffeeCons:*Staff aren’t rude, but very rarely friendly. *Have got my order wrong twice before. (Only been here 4 times)* They make their scrambled eggs the same way QANTAS somehow does theirs (sort of steamed and blobbed together in a block)* Don’t take AMEX (3% on $15 isn’t a whole lot when your customer leaves happier)

Lively, good location, responsive staff. This two shopfront cafe has an exotic name, its own car park and prefaced sandwiches and warps at the counter. The coffee was a good pick me up but I did find the zucchini fritters a bit too moist to my liking. Otherwise the salmon on top was yummy. Most guests that day preferred their own two to a table seating although i loved the canteen styled big wooden tables for community sharing. One side is airy and bright whilst the other offers a refuge for those who want privacy perhaps. A rustic feel, another good addition tot eh Wollongong cafe scene.

Don’t like it at all, the coffee is no good, the food is only average and the place is terribly dirty! I wouldn’t go again ever!

Best coffee! And they just hired a new chef who is really changing things round and sprucing up the food! You definitely have to check it out!
