My husbands family recommend Roppongi to us. And we went for my birthday dinner. My husband is a very fussy person but he loves beef teriyaki. So with all the recommendations its sounds like the perfect place for us. But No!! It was the worst birthday dinner ever! When my husband said the beef teriyaki was bad I thought he was being him so i tried myself and God hes so dam right! Also had sushi and some kinda udon stuff which nothing special. The rice for the sushi was smell bad like old rice and so crumbling. No! I wont recommend this at all. I gave 1.5 star only because the udon was Okay!
This restaurant has been around for more than 25 years when i was in the university. And they are still doing good business in 2018. All of the food are good. Chicken skewers were exceptional. Tempura was also great. Chicken cutlet with egg and rice also superbly done. Price is ok. Space is quite big.
Used to love going to Roppongi as it was pretty authentic and doesn’t get too busy as it’s quite hidden. Sushi used to be so fresh and delicious. Ordered a sushi tray for takeway for dinner and came home to stinky, sushi that wasn’t fresh and was very fishy tasting and smelling. Couldn’t finish it. Usually they do much better. There was also too much rice.Their Udon & Curries are pretty good though. And it’s pretty affordable
