Best sushi you will find in Wollongong. Fresh, authentic and a good price and value. They have a variety of dishes but I think their sushi is the best. Large variety. Service is ok- not the best but they’ll leave you be. Store is quite small so go early as it can get full fast.
Disappointing. Sashimi was good quality however extremely small serving for the price. Beef was overcooked and again overpriced for the serving size. I would consider myself well versed in Japanese food and unfortunately this falls far short of the quality I am used to.
Came here for a quick dinner after hectic project at work. Tried good variety of their sushi. All yummy and fresh We were so impressed and decided to come back the following day for lunch. Very pleasant experience so far.
Great if you like japanese made by Koreans an chinese …. This place is run by Chinese an Koreans not japanese person in site …Crap!
50:50. went here the first time and it was crazy good food and served quickly, so we suggested to go their with friends last night. All the meals came out 10 mins apart and mine didn’t even come at all. The sushi chef just thew his hands in the air and refused to acknowledge. Kindly, my friends gave me some of their food, which was now cold because they had politely all waited. No apology or anything was given. So even though the food was great first time, I will go somewhere else, where you get the service you are meant to be provided.
Best Restaurant in the Illawarra. I’ll start by saying this is my favourite place to eat in the Illawarra, hands down. Not once have I been disappointed with the food, service or pricing at Sakura Sushi. Our favourite is the salmon tempura roll: amazing.
Best Japanese Wollongong. This place rocks!! I come here regularly with my family for lunch on weekends and we always eat outstanding meals. Very consistent.Beef hot pot is my favourite dish.
