Arrogant… Overpriced… Never going back… Had a voucher from Illawarra Brewery that the staff and management did not honour. I couldn’t believe it and cannot believe that there are businesses that exist like this one.

Great location. Happy hour craft bears were great. Food. Average. Price ok but not a lot of substance to the meal. Not the best pub food but to be expected.

From fair to worse!. It seems the Brewery has been refurbished since I was last there and while it was a little tired it was still cozy. Now it just looks cheap and awkward. I order a schnitzel thinking it was safe. How hard is it to stuff that up? It was clearly overcooked, brown and dry. My friends medium steak was over cooked too. Never going back.

What a Friday Night Should Be!. Around ten of us had gathered and it was the cocktails that impressed most of us. In various coloured hues – ranging from purple to peach yellow – the bar man patiently and quietly dished out his creations. Having the barista coffee counter closed after 9pm may not be a good idea but never mind. We chose different platters and I love the tapas best – chorizo, olives, prawns and breads. I also fell for the stereotype battered seafood ala pub style – the calamaris stood out. Friday evening at this venue was packed to the rafters. It was not a cold winter’s night on the Wollongong coast. The crowd was easy, casual and friendly,e specially the guys playing pool next to us.We started mostly with Bicardis and Malibus on coke. We ended up uplifted, relaxed and knew TGIF.

Change the menu back! I used to like eating here because it was good pub food… Now it’s just overpriced and the food it’s out of place
