Had lunch on a quiet day and was delighted with the veg wrap. The egg omelette blended nicely with the other ingredients. The result on my palate was harmony, flavour and texture. Staff are helpful, the owner-couple friendly and they are also near a bus stop in Balgownie Village. You can enjoy a vista of the Illawarra escarpment from your inside or outdoor table. The menu can be not varied but it is the overall atmosphere that attracts their regular crowd. The coffee is good, the service is timely and it echoes the best of village life.

The menu isn’t fancy but it’s reliable- great sandwiches which you can compile yourself and yummy breakfasts. Reliable coffee too- with a generous ‘large’ size. Good hot chocolate (with complimentary marshmallows). Good place for families.
