Good food and coffee ! The nut mylk is a must try. Perfect brunch place for the weekend. The environment is cosy and staff is friendly. Make sure you come early as it can be pretty packed during the weekend. Would definitely come back !!!

To say it was an awesome brunch is an understatement. About: Spicer, a small cafe at the heart of Woollahra, maybe tiny but it’s the only that is small in there. They are big on flavour and experience. The tea and coffee lover in me started the brunch with a warm cup of dirty chai tea latte. One sip and winter suddenly feels awesome from gloomy. Then came in my order of shakshuka, a middle eastern baked egg on tomato sauce and spices. I loved the smell of the dried spices coming off it. It has the right level of spiciness, just enough to kick your winter blues away. My hip 9-year old companion had ginger iced tea and avo toast. He was pretty quiet all throughout the meal. I’m sure you know what that means. And as if I don’t have enough caffeine in blood stream from the dirty chai tea latte, I had to end our brunch with a long black. The coffee neutralised my taste palette and now, I’m hungry again! Thanks for the epic brunch About: Spicer

Great menuandbest coffee, I always enjoy going to this establishment. Highly recommendas one of the best in the Eastern suburbs. Been here so many times with family and friends as they are open right through to the evenings. Love the zucchini spaghetti’s anddelicous burgers.

Food – the Spicer Cilbir was excellent, different enough to be interesting, with beautifully balanced flavours and textures. The side of extra crispy bacon was extra extra crispy! But I found the avo stack a bit limp, and they failed to replace the soy lin bread with sourdough, as we’d asked. Coffees were excellent and just as we specified.Service – mostly excellent, very helpful and attentive. But there were some staff standing round with nothing to do, and this always makes me feel a bit on edge … as if the staff care more about eating and chatting than they do about giving service.Ambience – this is where they lost major points with us. The smoke detector was chirping away, making us wince every few minutes. Very intrusive. With two of the staff idly chatting and snacking it was especially annoying. Just change the battery!

I love how small and cosy this place is, also how it’s set back off the Main Street. It was really busy when we went and for such a small kitchen, I was impressed with how efficient the service was. There was variety on the menu, all four of us had something different and each meal was equally as tasty. Great value for money too!

These guys are absolutely doing some amazing things when it comes to food. From stuffed cookies sandwiched around frozen banana cheesecake to tender meatballs in bourbon sauce and stacks of chickpea pancakes with tasty as vegetables… There really is something for everyone. Add to that an extensive and creative cocktail list, the loveliest staff we’ve come across in the area and great tunes, and you have yourself a winner. Definitely one of our faves! twogirlsonefork.com
