Visit on a Saturday night and its clear that this pub cum bar is popular with a younger, dressy, Eastern Suburbs set. The bar area is packed and ear-piercingly noisy so much so that we decided to seek relief in the outside area which was a couple of decibels quieter. Drinks arent hugely expensive to be fair but that isnt enough to make me want to revisit. As they say – if the music is too loud, youre too old. Well in the case of the Wollahra Hotel, Im definitely too old. thernbdiary.com

We had a function here on Saturday night but wanted to get in early to catch some of the sport on the screen. The downstairs bar is vibrant with a good range of beers – any pub that has Reschs is always a positive in my eyes. This is the perfect area to come and grab a beer and watch the game (any game) with a group of friends. The presence of TAB will be a benefit for those who like a flutter. After catching the game we headed up stairs to the terrace. The mood and vibe up here on the terrace is good and if you grab an area out near the side bar you get a prime position. The drinks up here are good and the cocktail menu is pretty tasty – especially when they have their specials on a Fri/Sat night. I personally loved their board devoted to Gin drinks, definitely my choice of spirit lately. Get the Botanist. Do it! $15 for a pub feed Monday – Thursday means that we will be back for a feed and another Reschs and botanist soon.

I came to woollhara hotel for a long overdue catchup with my girlfriends. I was worried stepping into the bottom floor that we had really missed the mark with location picking, but walking up the stairs I then knew we were spot on. A gorgeous rooftop, we perched ourselves right near the fire place. The cocktail list in phenomenal, I powered through 5 or 6 of them with each one being damn delicious. Experience of bar staff definitely came into play with the lychee martini however, the first one I was crying with happiness, the second one I was crying because the vodka was burning my throat so badly. A great and tasty food selection, extremely affordable and really friendly staff.

I really liked the atmosphere and mood of The Terrace. It was a nice night that was very relaxing and pleasant.I ordered the salmon with slow-roasted tomatoes and asparagus which was really really tasty! (See the photo). The skin was crispy and the salmon was cooked really well. It was also presented really elegantly.I will definitely return soon for a chill night, and would love to try the cocktails!!

Stopped for quick dinner and a drink at the downstairs of Woollahra hotel, ordered Chipotle chicken salad. Salad was pretty good, it had good mix of salads, generous amount of avocado pieces and chicken was tender. It also has a lot of raw onion slices, you will need mint or two after eating this food to avoid the onion breath mishap. goodtasteguide.blogspot.com

I love this place. I always end up Having a great time here and it always seems that I have an espresso martini in one hand and a bowl of fries in another. If you’re looking for a good time this place is great on a Saturday night or come here mid week and enjoy their yummy meal deals. The chicken parmigiana is so good!
