We had a late breakfast here on Good Friday. Staff were lovely and attentive and timely. Coffee was nice. Salmon avo smash was fresh with nice big chunks of salmon. The burger and chips was fresh and tasty (they let you know the beef mince patty comes pink – I prefer more well done which was catered for with no issue). Would happily return
Had the beef cheeks and the vitamin B. The beef cheeks are good, they’re yummy! Portion’s generous. I wouldn’t order the same thing though if I come again- I want to try the other menu. But it was good! Also tried the vitamin B for beverage- definitely a must try. athaliact.com
Clean and warm, inviting staff and prompt service. Beautiful crema on my long black – but horribly bitter to the core . Ordered the weeks ‘it-menu-item’ – black pudding eggs benedict – looked grouse, tasted like nothingness. Added oodles of chipolte Tabasco, pepper and salt to give it some.Dining partner also ordered the beef cheeks sandwich… good, but not great. She did however enjoy her coffee. Probably won’t return.
Warm and cosy cafe with delicious comfort food. We had the Cuban pork sandwich which was absolutely divine and the potato and leek soup with pulled pork which was great on a cold, rainy day. The soup was served with the yummiest wood fired bread lathered with butter. The drinks menu was also fantastic with some inventive flavours such as peppermint hot chocolate.
During my visit, the electricity suddenly went down. Luckily, there were big windows that allowed some sunlight to went in but still, I could not take a good picture because of thatTried their famous beef cheek sandwich but its not as good as I expected to be. Its just okay for me
My work colleague and I were walking aimlessly and we spotted JM and we decided to check it out. We managed to nab the last table inside as it was busy!I went for their beef cheek sandwich, which was apparently one of the popular choices and my work colleague went for their mushroom remastered with a side of truffled coddled eggs. She also tried their apple juice and commented on how good it was. While the sandwiches got a bit messy to eat (sauce dribbling down everywhere) it was delicious and worth the price you pay. Staff were super friendly. My pics aren’t that good as I was in a rush to eat but I’ll definitely come back to check out something else.
Lovely little cafe in Woolloomooloo, specialising in sandwiches. The sandwiches here are great!! I have tried a few and will definitely come back (they also have specials sometimes). Also, parking isn’t a problem here. You can easily find street parking right outside or close by.
