It’s one of the few places you can get a decent hot coffee actually delivered via ubereats when struggling to get your feet out of bed in the morning. The baguettes here are reasonable and they have some great filling combinations like swiss cheese, walnuts, lettuce and chicken (Le Poulet) and L’italienne which is essentially a caprese salad in a baguette.Whilst the bread is usually crunchy (yet sometimes a little dry), the insides are usually delightfully lathered in butter and the fillings fresh and crisp. They sell out early in the day so forget real choice if you’re visiting come the afternoon. crumbs-au.com
There was a great French creperie at this hole in the wall for a couple of years and it was sorely missed. Now theres a new Frenchman here but he does baguettes. Simple but with great crunchy bread and good ingredients. They seem quite expensive at around $10 though. The coffee is a big plus, very rich and creamy. A few tables on the footpath but mainly meant for takeaway.
