Came here to buy take away coffee. The place was busy with people buying drinks. Its Australia day after all. Service was pretty quick and the coffee was not bad (from Will & Co). Might come for the meals next time.
The food here was so bad. We ordered the salt and pepper squid and fries. The fries were extremely small serving for $10. Then the squid had not been cleaned properly before deep frying and had gunk and sand all inside them. It was terrible. The service was also very poor and the girl serving drinks and taking our order was quite rude. Will not come back again or recommend to anyone in the area.
@tilburyhotel CHEFS CHOICE: 300g Jack’s Creek Black Angus Beef Sirloin, Marble Score 3, Triple Cooked Handcut chips & Garden Salad .What a beautifully renovated iconic hotel in Woolloomooloo. And if the interior and outdoor dining don’t wow you, your food certainly will. This steak melted in my mouth and with each bite i took and I could taste the attention and care they’d taken in seasoning it. The jus gave a great depth of flavour, I took great delight in dipping my fat crispy potato chips into the little pot. Easy to understand how this steak has been award winning the previous two years, so appreciative of the venue for having me
Really fresh and inventive tastes in a beautifully decorated atmosphere. This place has really taken things to the next level. Very impressive indeed.
Located in Woolloomooloo and popular with the locals this is the spot for after work drinks. The interior is sleek and inviting with a front bar area, restaurant dining and a back leafy courtyard. Whilst we were only there for drinks the Summer grill menu had some enticing options including Gyros, Nachos and classic beer battered Fish and Chips. Upstairs was blocked off for a private function however I imagine it is as sleek as the rest of the Tilbury. Drink service from the bar was a little slow – but that’s the price of being popular.
Disappointed. Came here in a Sunday night with family expecting food as premium as the location. Instead we were served sloppy burgers, cold chips and chewy chicken.
Good food and good location – renovated pub good food – love it!
