Excellent, it may be a bowling club but the service, facilities and food quality were all excellent. Picked up on time by the courtesy bus, dropped of and signed in via licence as per any club. Went to a quiet lounge where we were served a lovely Merlot and the bar girl was keen to get rid of the open bottle so did a dynamite deal for us. Into the bistro for dinner, easy club style ordering, food came fast and it was very good. If you are after 5 star you shouldn’t be going to a service club, but the food here was very good. Courtesy bus back and a great night had. Definitely worth a try, a very good service club.
