In town for a night and decided on a couple of drinks to start and then dinner at Pacific Hotel. Firstly, amazing ocean views and they cater for it with the huge windows. Recommend for a drink. For dinner, not too bad. Somewhere between okay and quite good. We both got burgers with added chips ($18.50). Our buns were a bit over-toasted – crunchy and crumbly. The partner’s beef burger (beef, cheese, lettuce, tomato and jalapeno aioli) came as described. My chicken burger (chicken thigh, tomato, lettuce, pineapple, bacon and chipotle mayo) was missing the bacon, which was obviously devastating. I only noticed halfway through – it was nice enough without and regardless, I’m not one to send food back for a minor omission. But bacon wluld have been brilliant. Chips were a bit crunchy and dry. More to my partner’s taste than to mine. They had self-serve sauces which we always appreciate. Would come again – the food is as expected, the prices are reasonable and the view unbeatable.

Bun and patty were frozen, and crumbled once I laid hands on them and rissoto was a cheezy mess. Ended up in burger spot across the street which was pretty good!
The view, the view, the view, the VIEW! The menu is good with lots of options for everyone. The fish and chips were perfect on a rainy day and sitting inside with a view over the beach watching surfers trying to catch a wave or two was just magic.
Unexpected delight. Was drawn in by the view & venue & would return for the food & service. We absolutely loved this pub. Amazing oysters, quality steak & fresh vegetables, panne cotte you’d expect in a top restaurant. Well played, will return if ever in Yamba!
Went here with 6 adults and 6 kids. Food was amazing and views are ridiculous. The calamari is to die for. Best beer on tap (pacific stone and wood) service was reasonably fast for a busy day. Sometimes hard to get a table if it’s busy. They do not do any alterations on any meals tried to get them not to put there pickle jam on a burger for the kids and they wouldn’t. Other than that a must if in Yamba.
