So disappointing. My hotel offered room service from Pippi’s, but no ‘room service’ menu was available in the restaurant or the room, not did the waiter wish to properly explain menu options. I was sent away from the restaurant to review the menu in my room. When I called the restaurant from my room I was asked to return to the restaurant for menu options and snapped at by the waiter when I asked questions about the two options which were provided. Not ideal after a long day. Based on this complete lack of hospitality and service, I would not recommend Pippi’s, especially for room service.
My wife and I had dinner here on Tuesday night after reading the more recent positive reviews. We were super impressed and left very happy. The food compares to any modern Australian tapas (or “tastes” as the owner prefers) that we have had around the country. We had about 6 dishes, all great, but the chorizo and cheese dish was particularly good. A must try! Service was spot on, setting nice (they have built some of the benches and bar themselves from reclaimed timber) and all round good little find. If you are in Yamba and looking for a pleasant dinner that is a notch up from the other places in the area go to Pipi’s.

I felt heavy and lethargic afterwards. Poached eggs across our table of 8 were all over cooked. They were out of the fruit salad, the Bircher muesli and smoked salmon. Considering how busy Yamba was this particular day I can understand it but we were all a little disappointed. I have to say though that the coffee wasn’t bad at all. Pippi’s is in such a great location so it’s a real shame that the service was horrid and the food was average.
Great breakfast
Nice menu, well exicuted. Deserts all baked in house. Look homely and taste divine. Nice little cafe
