My girlfriends and I enjoyed our experience at The Mexican so much that we came back the following night. Our waiters were friendly and efficient, the menu choices were excellent, there were lots of fun drink choices and a great atmosphere with live music. I’m vegetarian and it made for such a nice change to have multiple choices on the menu!! Muchos Gracias Amigos!!!

If I could give this place no stars, I would. It is the absolute worst. 40 minutes after ordering I had no drink, a cold and congealed plate of food because despite requesting twice in 20 minutes no one could bring me any cutlery. Are we meant to eat with our hands??? In a town full of great restaurants, there’s no reason why anyone should have to date. This place’s door.
Passing through Yamba on New Years Eve we were searching for a little restaurant with atmosphere to have a Mexican feed with Sangria. The food was fresh, good portions and tasty. The service was a little lacking, but the friendliness made up for it. Great place if craving your classic Australian Mexican style food.
