About
A dining destination in the heart of the Yass, Vieux Restaurant & Caf on Glebe Street is nestled in the grand establishment of Linton Manor. The property has been restored to its former glory with a caf open during the day and an elegant restaurant offering sophisticated evening dining, along with a ballroom, billiards room, library, lounge, and breakfast room. Take a stroll around stunning gardens with a courtyard, orchard, pond and rose gardens, before heading indoors to dine in rich wine-colored surrounds with white clothed tables, a crackling fire, and parquet flooring. For lunch, perhaps opt for Snowy Mountains hot smoked trout, flaked over linguine pasta with a lemon cream sauce; while evening guests indulge in an ever-evolving three-course menu, with optional wine pairings.Details

Our group enjoyed a very pleasant lunch at Vieux. Delicious food, charming service and unique ambience. A great escape from the everyday. We’ll be back soon for a tour of this historic house.
My husband and I visited Cafe Vieux recently and loved the atmosphere of this wonderful historic home. It is being restored very tastefully and the cafe served tasty home cooked meals. The service was excellent and very welcoming.
Nice atmosphere. Lovely food. Great service. Pleasant staff. Reasonable prices. BUT the staff attire leaves a bit to be desired and an unpleasant odour hangs around. Would think twice before returning due to odour as not nice while eating .
We stopped here for tea, scones and juice, sat outside in the garden and received excellent service from the charing owner. A very pretty place, perfect for a special occasion. An historic building.
