Had breakfast here was delicious! Recommend by a security guy in the mall. Had the Budhha bowl and mango kombucha, hubby had the Tank breakfast, juice and coffee( which he said was good as I don’t drink it) Could not fault it and we are going back before we leave! Yum!
Easily the best cafe in Alice. Huge area with cool design, extensive menu which has loads of variety and vego options, nice staff and interesting recycled wares for sale. Highly recommend!
Gosh, where to start? I came in here twice, the first time I came here I ordered a silverbeet salad, it tasted nice but was so so oily, I felt sick afterwards, the coffee was also very bitter and burnt, I mentioned something nicely about the extreme amount of oil to one of the staff and she brushed it off and just told me it was the sundried tomatoes in the salad. I came back today, thinking I’d give the water tank another shot, I ordered a roast vegetable salad, the chef told me he’d fill the salad up with some lettuce leaves, the salad came to the table and I was shocked, what came out was a bowl of soggy roast vegetables completely swimming in oil and on the side where a few dried up, shriveled lettuce leaves that looked like they had been left out in the heat for more than a day, Which they charged me $15 for. I thought I’d try the salad and after two bites, I actually felt nauseous, it was completely sickly and I would never feed it to anybody. I have never in my life sent a dish back before today. This salad was completely inedible. So I decided to send it back, I was extremely polite about it and even found myself apologizing for having to send it back, one of the staff was very rude and displeased when I had sent it back, her attitude was very uncomfortable, not one single apology and not one offer for a refund, I had to ask for my money back. I will not be back here.
This unique little cafe located away from the mainstream shops. The moment you walk in the staff are friendly and eager to please. The coffee is the best in town. The food is good and the variety plenty. The place has a lot to offer in arty work and nic nacs spread about. Has an arty over tone driven by people prepared to think outside the box. Well worth a visit.
