The location is beautiful, with the cafe being right on the marina. The food came out fairly quickly, however the coffee took a while to come out. I had an ‘Energiser’ juice, which I thought could have used an apple in place of some of the celery (which was a very prominent flavour) since it could have used an ingredient to make it slightly sweeter, but otherwise it was good. The food was alright although nothing really stood out, however I would give the place another try.
Absolute rubbish.Despite the fantastic location and semi decent presentation- the food and service is abysmal. The ordering system is an absolute joke- they desperately need table service. And the food is just crap… absolutely not worth the money. Go to the Laneway Cafe in Parap. Alley Cats or Four Birds instead.
Fairly Consistent. I’ve been around 12 times now. The coffee is always good compared to a lot of other places, only once have I been unsatisfied with my breakfast; it was a bit cold and it happens to the best of places. The staff are friendly, some of the reviews here are quite scathing but all I require is friendly polite service, which I receive here. I find grabbing a coffee and breakfast whilst reading the paper here to be really relaxing, and I wish I had more time off work to do so.
Not worth the money. Will never return. Stale bread was served and the glasses were filthy.
Good view, bad value. I didn’t want to do a bad review about the prices because I understand you pay for the view. But some places take advantage of this and just take the piss. Their competition (Buzz) is closed for reno’s so they must be enjoying the monopoly too. I don’t mind paying $9.50 for a juice but wasn’t happy when I was served a small glass that was at least 80% ice. My pumpkin salad was I think $19 or $20 and was also substandard. If you’re like me and sick to death of poxy mesculin lettuce mixes dominating most of our meals these days, you’re going to feel cheated here too. Coffee was pretty good. Nice view and a lovely fresh breeze, but the location isn’t enough to justify the prices if the food and drinks aren’t up to standard.
It was nice visit. We need to order on counter ourself with table number. No any mistake and very quick service. The food was good enough.
Terrible. This place is terrible. The food is appalling as is the service. Please don’t waste your time or money here.
