Everything about this place is amazing. Tucked away out of town. Produce grown onsite. Refugees, who have gone above and beyond to create a special place that not only means the world to them, by makes us, as customers feel special and welcomed into their home. Catered to our dietaries with a smile. Super lovely and definitely coming back for more!

A pleasant drive out of town, towards the airport takes you to a piece of Vietnam in the NT. The decor is a little quirky and some of the signage which gives away perhaps some long time annoyances diners have made upon the owners; none the less you are in for a treat. The service is quick and friendly. The menu is quite vast so we went with one of the many ‘banquet’ options and were not disappointed. The flavours were out of this world. We particularly liked the chicken curry but to be honest, all dishes were great. Having been to Vietnam for work a bit and dined in some of Melbourne’s good Vietnamese restaurants, I would rate Alice in the top 2 places I have been to.
Alice Springs is full of weirdness. Unintentional oddities. This is another example. Drive out of town past the airport and in the middle of pitch black nowhere is a fairy light and fake flower decorated mega-restaurant serving top class Vietnamese food with produce they grow themselves in the garden. I, for one, appreciate the OCD detailed rules that greet you on entry.
Second time here in the past month. It’s a Wednesday night and there are less than 10 people seated. The food was below par by anyone’s standard. The duck was over cooked and had little to no taste. The sizzling pork was no better. Disappointing.
