COVE. Disappointing, six ladies out for dinner. All felt Underwhelmed. Pricey for small serves (mains looked like entree sizes) Pork Belly was not fresh, soggy rather than crispy top. Had to pay extra for a vegetable side, still hungry but wasn’t spending more. Il Piatto a better option! For high end, very low end style, food and service!

The Cove Darwin. Excellent staff, amazing service and the food is second to none at Sky city. By fare the best atmosphere, food and feel off all sky city restaurants.

Food was ok, but very overpriced.. We had breakfast at the Cove this morning. The total bill was $56 for 2 people, we had the avocado eggs and the big breakfast, unfortunately the breakfasts were not all that big. One small piece of toast was all that was served with each meal and an extra piece of toast was $4. The food was fine, but overall we both felt value for money was lacking. The coffees were nice but again one small cup of coffee for $5.50 is overpriced even for Darwin standards. Probably would not bother with a return visit. I did tell the manager I thought the meals should have more toast, but she made no comment in return.

Could be better. Been to Cove a total of 3 times.1st time – we were served by one waitress the whole night who was amazing, however the kitchen missed one of our entrees and my partner was left to watch me eat my entree. Salmon and wagyu, and then dessert, was great, so left a great impression.2nd time – lunch, food was good, cant remember the service. Views of the lagoon/pool during the day is nice though.3rd time – must have been a new waitress because she seemed to be a little lost. Took our drink orders and drinks didn’t come until 40 minutes later when we had asked twice. Then we got a different waiter every time after that. Salmon skin wasn’t crispy and wagyu was overcooked. For the price you pay, it wasn’t worth it.

I went there Xmas party. Food is fancy and Waygu beef was very very nice. Service is lagging. Bit expensive. I enjoyed the food.

I don’t know whether I like this place or not… I went in for breakfast by myself, was given a private table, which is lovely, and was promptly served an waited on. I ordered a eggs florentine which came out as two eggs on toast – when it was delivered the waitress said ‘eggs benedict’ – I laughed, ate the meal and left – I won’t be back. Ps – Coffee was average
