Very Nice But Very Expensive. We had a work dinner here and the food was absolutely beautiful, however I did manage to have a look at the menu and it’s very expensive. Lucky we weren’t paying that evening !! It’s more like Chinese fine dining pitched at the patrons staying within the Casino complex or the Chinese high rollers who wouldn’t even sneeze at those type of prices.

Am I being ripped !! $135 per kg of mud crab. Have dinner with workmate, order a steamed mud crab, told the waiter twice but turn up with a stir fry one, I requested to change it and finally it served about half hour later. Nothing special. Taste not real good. When i have the bill. Shocked! Just the mud crab $230. Other dishes nothing special with small protion. That is the most expensive mud crab I have in Australia. Beware that is no price showing for their live seafood and not even told us how big the the crab. Not worth to recommend. Simply don’t go!! Extremely disappointed.

If you are looking for a typical Chinese restaurant, with crazy prices due to being inside a casino, then you’ve found your place! We had a great meal, wonderful service and good atmosphere but the prices are high due to the location. All in all I did like their food so that’s an ‘I like it’ from me..

I was staying at SkyCity and didn’t have transport so I thought I’d try Dragon Court. The service was friendly but ineffecient and slightly slow (I think every waiter/waitress in the restaurant must have stopped at my table during the meal. The dim sims were tasty but no better than something you might have in your freezer. The main I had, crispy spicy sweet and sour duck, was deep fried boneless duck smothered in sickly sweet sweet and sour sauce. The deep frying had pretty much destroyed by flavour the duck might’ve had. It was not at all spicy. Even the addition of a bowl of sliced chillies in soy sauce couldn’t take the sweet edge of it. The desert, red bean roll with icecream topping, was red bean paste wrapped in filo pastry and deep fried, with a scoop of icecream on the side. The food was not terrible. If you like extremely westernised Chinese food, you’ll love this place. But if you want something a bit more authentic, try somewhere else.
