It is nearly one year that I have not been back to this espresso so dropped in to re-visit this morning. Although it located at a not eye-catching prominent position of the shopping village (at the backside of the village not facing the main road entrance), it does not affect the business at all. Foodies are clever to foraging their food & beverage and I witness lots of car just parked at the ample parking area in front of this espresso for their take-away coffee. There was only one friendly and passionate gentleman running the show this morning and he is so proficient to prepare every single orders. I ordered my flat white and an Almond Croissant. It did not take a long time to have them on my table. Nice looking coffee made of Piazza D’oro coffee bean, which tastes fantastic with spot-on strength to my palate. Almond croissant has been slightly warm up and cut in slides and served on a wooden broad. Presentation tempted me to pick up one slide immediately and had a bite. Wow! That is the almond croissant that I like, which remains its crispy and layered texture with subtle taste of almond. Importantly, the almond croissant just perfectly matches with my flat white! Once again, thanks for this espresso, it makes my day!11 months ago Rating 5/5Hidden behind shops of Acacia Ridge shopping village area at Elizabeth Street, it is a local gem with faultless performance. Two gentlemen running the show, both are smart and very friendly. Judging by their actions of performance, I can tell that they are full of passion. Ordered the flat white and tried a piece of Mango & Coconut bread. It took a reasonable time to have the coffee due to the long wait of take-away orders. Flat white came with a nice green colour cup and very beautiful latte art. From the aroma of the coffee, I could tell that it was the right spot to have Piazza D’oro. The coffee tasted well and strong. The concentration remained the coffee art even after half the cup of coffee was gone. The Mango & Coconut bread was toasted with light touch of butter and presented with a wooden broad. The aroma of coconut attacked my olfactory sense once the bread was on the table. Texture was spongy with traces of coconut and some little pieces of mangoes. I urge all coffee-lovers give it a go, this espresso bar will be sorry to be missed. Highly recommended.
