Dropped in this bakery for a pie to go with Coke Zero couple of days ago. When I saw the sign of Merlo coffee, I changed my mind to order my flat white and a Curry Chicken Pie. Coffee was extra-ordinary good compared to the offers from other bakeries. Top pastry of the pie was crispy with soft bottom which hold the juicy content quite firm. Curry flavour was just perfect with right balance of sweetness (from the sweet corn) and saltiness. They use the chicken thigh for the pie which is clever and won’t deliver a tough texture of chicken meat. Thumb up!
