Best chicken rolls ever. Really busy which means other people dig it too. Value is good – cheap quality chicken . Service was quick and friendly.
Pretty yum. Reminds me of old school chicken. Cooked over coals. Salads were fresh and delicious. The garlic sauce they give you looks strange but very tasty. Worth the drive over.
01.09.15 lunch ordered two chicken quarters and chips both with chicken salt. On inspection the chicken pieces on both were raw and the chips over cooked and dehydrated. On returning back with the chicken I did not receive a sorry simply a ‘oh’ at this stage I asked for my money to be returned. The second quarter for my work colleague was ordered as he isn’t as fickle about raw chicken and bad chips. The second quarter received had gravy and no chicken salt. Few really big misses from a very popular place. Just be careful what you eat because the chicken should be inspected on the cut.
Great chicken and big portion of salad all the time. We usually order half chicken with sweet potatoes, pumpkins and garden salad. Totally worth the $13.5 for 2 people!
Some answers from the owner. Just a quick answer to some of our fans and non fans.Firstly the non fans.. to the person who had to wait more than 30 minutes.. sorry, it was a Friday lunch rush and we tried our best but could not serve everyone as we usually can do. We are trying all the time to be faster and it is now. If you have to wait more than 5 minutes on non peak times, let us know and we will give you something nice to eat free.. to make it up to you.to the person who thought we used dirty gloves.. you did not look close enough. We always use two pairs.. One pair to keep our hands cool.. taking burning hot chickens apart is not fun without this white pair.. The second pair is disposable and is replaced for every roll.. except when we are making two simultaneously. So we always use two pairs, the first white cotton replace every few hours, the second is always new. Sorry, to the person who wrote thought we were not clean.. we always are when it comes to food.The person who did not like the price rise.. Our costs are rising all the time… for example the chickens had an industry wide price rise this week by 30 cents per chicken.. we don’t plan to raise prices for at least a year..now to the fans… If you have read this far, mentioned this post for a lovely free can of soft drink. 375 ml coke variety. valid to to end of 2014. Best chicken in Brisbane!. I came here to have a 1/4 chicken salad pack and was surprised by the generous portion size! The chicken was also the best I’ve had in brisbane – juicy, tender and full of flavour. The garlic sauce is also to die for. Had the coleslaw and potato salad which were yum. The service was efficient and staff were friends. Prices are very reasonable will be coming back here again!
Delicious chicken and fast service. I went into this shop because I would always smell it as I would walk past into Woolies. When I went in the service was quick and I couldn’t pick anything wrong with the food at all. 11/10!!
