Have not been back to this Malaysian restaurant nearly two years so re-visited it last night. Walked in around 6:00pm and it was not that busy and we were the only table dining in. After perused the menu, we decided to go for the Kuching Fried Vermicelli, Kuching Laksa and a dish of fried Chicken Wings with additional drinks of Honey Lime. Always love the passionate service and their homey style of preparation, which reflects the authenticity of traditional Sarawakian cuisine. Laksa is as good as before and the Vermicelli is very tasteful and chicken wings are crispy and juicy. Homemade honey lime drinks are a new nice experience and we think we will try other homemade drinks on our next visit.Rating 4.5/5Jan 11, 2017 Rating 4.5/5After I had read the reviews of this eatery, my curiosity drove me rushing to try it out. Located in a prime position at the junction of Mortimer and Beaudesert Road, you won’t miss this spot. It appears like a traditional family business of Chinese Take Away. There are only a few tables in the dining area and a Malaysian Chinese couple runs the show. Mrs is very hospitable and gave me the feeling of having dinner at my friend’s place. Ordered the Char Kueh Teow, Kuching Laksa, a pcs of chicken drumstick and an Iced Milk Tea. Love their dishes, particularly the Kuching Laksa, which is so traditional with vermicelli, plump king prawns, egg strips, shredded chicken and bean sprout. It is the traditional Sarawakian way to prepare this kind of Laksa and the soup base definitely is the appropriate medicine for homesickness. Don’t forget to order the Iced Milk Tea with your meal, it is a perfect match with the Laksa…..
