WORST Pizza Capers Ever. I don’t eat much pizza, but was completely sold on how my better pizza capers was than other chains when I was living in Brisbane. However, the first time I ordered pizza in Townsville they rang 30 mins later to say they couldn’t deliver and I would need to pick it up. The second time the pizza was the crap standard I’d expect from other chains and the third time it took 80mins to turn up (they said it would take 60), the pizza was badly made and no where near as good as other Pizza Capers and the delivery guy gave me $10 in change, including $5 in silver coins (including 5c coins).I will NEVER get pizza again from here. Pizza Capers need to give this franchise owner a kick in the arse – makes the rest of the chain look bad.
So dissapointing!. I ordered a pizza from the Pizza Capers North Ward and what a waste of money. I have just relocated from Cairns and I love pizza capers in cairns, heaps of topping, heaps of flavour and was expecting the same in Townsville. What a dissapointment, there was hardly any topping, just a bit of meat here and there, and the hollonaise sauce was so bland and tasteless. Overall is was a tasteless waste of money. For the money you pay you would expect a bit of quality. North Ward Pizza Capers you do not live up to this reputable brand ‘Pizza Capers’ – what a shame.
Delivery fail. I ordered home delivery of two pizzas at 5pm on a Monday night (not a busy time). The lady on the phone said it would be a one hour wait. I said that was okay. After two hours the pizzas had still not arrived so I rang the store. Ten minutes later they arrived, somewhat cold. I will never go back there again.
Yum. The service is great and they don’t charge full price for kids pizzas that are gluten free. The gluten’ free range is fairly varied and actually tastes decent.
This place makes it hard to go back to Dominos. The pizzas are better during the week, on the weekends they seem a little rushed. A delicious menu all-round – their lunch time calzones are scrummy, blue cheese bread is to die for and gelato is surprisingly good!
Great pizza. It bothers me just a little that I know some of the staff members by face and name… It is testament to the superb pizzas they sell, and this gourmet-ing of fast food is a fantastic direction to go in.
