How is this place surviving? It is LITERALLY in the middle of nowhere not accessible by public transport. If you decide to take public transport you will end up walking on a highway with no footpath available. Literally, that’s your only option without catching a cab. Once you get there, you’ll find the bands will likely play until after the last train home has departed, so you’re going to either have to miss the band or (in my case) ride a bicycle back into Brisbane if you actually want to watch the band whose ticket you paid for. There is a $3.40 atm withdrawal fee, so once they’ve got you all the way out there, they’re not shy about milking you for every penny. To top it all off, they just threw a mid-winter outdoor festival while it was raining heavily all night (as forecasted). Not one tent was provided. At the end of the concert, we were literally unable to find a way in to the main pub area so we could be warm and dry. Staff were unable to direct us to a door. I really can’t say enough bad things about this place. Every single time I go there to enjoy watching a band, I end up having to suffer some horrible ordeal. Seriously not worth it.

Some friends and I took our young babies to this tavern – we are locals and were looking for somewhere nice to meet for a coffee and some lunch. Evidently the fact that we had children with us was enough to warrant the staff to be very rude to us, despite the fact that the babies (only 6 months old) were all quiet and well behaved. Given their website advertises it as family friendly, this was a bit surprising. They were rude at the door and looked annoyed that we were even there, as though it was a huge ordeal to give us a table for 6 people and 6 prams in an almost empty restaurant. Nobody offered us menus or water, and the staff looked annoyed when I approached them for a menu as I was interrupting their private conversation, daring to ask for a menu. The only time they interacted with us was to clear the plates before we left. The bar staff were nice and polite at least. The food was okay, not very hot and kind of greasy, but the poor service was what made it unpleasant for me. Don’t worry, you won’t have to put up with us again, we’ll find somewhere else a little more friendly next time.

chicken kiev was bland. The chips numbered 13 and the coleslaw was also bland. There was no garlic butter inside the chicken, hence why it was bland, just 2 frozen knobs on top of the batter. The management wouldn’t refund, so we won’t be going there for a meal again.

Went there about a month ago. Food is seriously average and prices are ridiculous. Asked by another group if I wanted to go tonight ; declined. Going elsewhere.

An absolute disgrace of venue. I’ve never been so mistreated by a venue in all my life like how I was treated tonight. Myself an husband will never return nor recommend this place to anyone!Words can’t describe how angry I am. I will NEVER return.

Very disappointed with our meals. Ribs had hardly any meat and certainly not worth over $30. Duck Spring Rolls were made with store bought sauce, too salty and sweet and no duck in sight. Seafood Platter was tiny with more chips than seafood. Chicken Parmi made with chicken so thin it was clearly made of sliced chicken, not chicken breast. Money making just to fund the new developments next door?!?!?

$33 for ribs that I couldn’t even chew. Here’s a recipe for you http://m.dummies.com/how-to/content/barbecue-ribs-the-right-way.htmlAll up dinner cost me $130 unsatisfied, typical Aussie pub trying to be American and falling short. I will say the steaks look good but I if they cook the ribs like that then I don’t want to to even exercise them destroying a $53 steak
