My first time at French and Mor today and I knew before I said yes to the side salad that I was going to be disappointed. $7.50 for a chicken & avo filo, yep Im cool with that, $14.50 to add salad. Well who wants to eat a lonely filo without something to accompany it, not me. My $7 salad came out and it was a handful of mixed leaf straight out the bag, 2 cherry tomatoes chopped in half and 1 measley sliver of red onion. I kid you not it was that pathetic and I was kicking myself for falling for the $7 side salad trick. Never again!!!! Coffee was decent but I feel conned so I wont be going back.
I took my mum here for morning tea with great expectations but we were both really disappointed. She asked me what beverage I had purchased for her as she couldn’t tell and was surprised when I said it was a cappuccino! She said it didn’t taste of coffee at all, just lukewarm milk. My flat white was also very weak and not hot enough. We both had citron tarts which were ok but not great and quite expensive. The eclectic mix of furniture has seen better days and our chairs were really uncomfortable. Suffice to say we won’t be back.
