Thought wedges of lemon were traditional with fish and chips but just to be sure l asked the guy if it came with lemon. After a long confused look and clarifying conversation he said he would make sure there was some. Of course the food arrived without lemon so went back and asked for it. Confused look. Eventually stated he would get some. Earnest conversation with kitchen workers and a trip into the back. Finally arrived… one tiny wedge on a giant plate- for both of us. World wide shortage of lemons I guess.
Really really expensive probably the most expensive fish and chip place in Brisbane. They’re charging Ekka prices here. Beer battered chips will cost you around $13 for a tiny serve. Save your gold bars and credit card interest fees and go somewhere like Sandgate.
Terrible fish and chips. Completely over priced. Asked for $6 worth of chips and barely had enough to feed myself let alone 2. The fish was tiny and the calamari was lifeless. Would rather drive 30 min to Redcliffe, buy a fishing rod, catch a fish, gut it, cook it and eat it.
Very clean shop , had a burger and scollops , very happy with service and food . Will be back
