A typical pub in the sense it has all the favourites including burgers and parmas!Good selection of wines and beer but did not see Cider on the drinks list. Options of dining inside or outside and blankets provided for outside seats which I thought was a nice touch (they did also have outside heaters) The pub has specials each day and all food seemed reasonable for price and portion. We went shortly after it had opened for its lunch session so the pub was very quite and service was prompt and friendly. Would return

After going to the Alexander Surf Club and realising it wasn’t our style, Clyde and I found this place. When we got there we were told to sit anywhere we like and come to the bar to order when we were ready. We liked this because for one, we got to choose where we wanted to sit rather than the waiter deciding, and two because we were able to order when we were ready. We ordered the Cajun Prawns for two as the entree and for the mains Clyde had the Parma with a Caesar salad and chips, whilst I had the crispy skin salmon with a side of mash potato and corn on the cob. The food look roughly 40 minutes to come out but the wait was worth it. Everything was cooked perfectly! The prawns had a lot of flavour and the chicken and salmon were both mouth watering. However it would have been nice if the entree/starter came before the mains as by the time the mains came out we were starving. Overall the staff were super friendly and attentive. The drinks were cheap with a great selection of on tap beer and cider. The only restaurant I have known to have Somersby, my favourite cider, on tap.Would definitely recommend everyone to try, they have something for everyone!
