Hard to find and rarely open but when you get the chance to visit this cute little restaurant with an atmosphere that couldn’t be better for the location, you enjoy every minute. Shockingly affordable and the food is nothing to complain about. Seafood laksa was well priced for an enormous portion containing fresh big and prawns. And the laksa itself tasting of traditional and authentic flavours. Must visit
FYI: Your Facebook and urbanspoon pages state different opening hours. Came to have dinner here on a Monday after seeing your urbanspoon page and found out that you are actually closed. Disappointed. But luckily we had a delicious dinner down the road
Lovely meal and fantastic mojitos for $9! I had the pan fried snapper on Asian greens and my hubby had the beef massaman curry. Generous serves prompt service. Very enjoyable.
Tasty Food. First lets begin with the service – I came with my husband and our son on a very busy Friday evening. After realising that we may not get a table as we did not book, the waitress quickly offered us a table in a quiet part of the restaurant near the garden which was a bonus. I like the layout of the menu which makes it easy to follow and has everything on it, only downside to that is that the area in which we were sitting had less than okay lighting making hard to read. Despite that we ordered a full three course dinner. To start we ordered chicken satay which were fantastic and fresh! For mains we followed with a curry, stir-fry, and a chef-special noodle dish. The main were tasty but after a while, the flavours tend to disappear, not so with the noodle fusion dish. The rice we got was cold, but the waitress swapped it without hesitation once we alerted her. Then for dessert we had a panacotta, which like the sangria in another review was completely out of place, was very tasty. We also had a sago pudding which was just above average. Overall the food and ambiance were good. The service has its moments but that may have been because of how busy it was. Other than that I liked this restaurant, though they could work on their coffee making as I asked for a latte and got a flat white instead.
