We dined here after visiting Sea Life for a quick lunch and were seated quickly. We chose drinks first from a small wine list and prices are quite high for average wines. For lunch I chose the chicken schnitzel burger with sweet potato wedges. I like that a sweet potato option is offered for no extra charge. My burger was surprisingly tasty. The chicken was juicy and the aioli that came on the burger complemented it really well. I didn’t think beetroot was necessary but that’s a personal opinion as I’m not the hugest fan. I enjoyed the wedges but thought a side sauce would have worked better. My husband chose a steak burger and thought it was tasty but just ‘ok’ overall (he can be a bit of a burger snob!)It’s not the place to come for an incredible meal nor a cheap bite to eat but being on the Entertainment Card helps soften the deal. Food is fine, tasty but nothing overly exciting and service too is good.
We had lunch here on our family trip to Mooloolaba and really enjoyed our meals. We were attended to promptly and our hostess took good care of us throughout the afternoon. We had the Chicken Caesar wrap, Cajun Spicy crumbed mushroom salad and What a Catch seafood platter. All three dishes were fresh and delicious. The seafood was cooked perfectly, the calamari and prawns melted in the mouth and the fries were seasoned well. The wrap was well prepared and the chicken was lightly seasoned which added to the taste. The salad was quite tasty and a vegetarian’s delight, the cajun mushrooms were delightful and were definitely the highlight of the salad. The price was dear, however the flavour and quality of the food justified what we paid for it.
Perfect meals, good service. My partner and I ate here last Thursday night. We’ve eaten at a number of HBs before, but this was hands down the best. Service was quick and friendly. The meals were PERFECT. I had the rib fillet and calamari, my partner some kind of fish (I didn’t take much notice). I know this is a ‘franchise’ but I can confidently say the meal we had here could easily beat most of the well-known and popular steakhouses in Brisbane. Well done to the Mooloolaba team!
Bad, bad, bad.. Went for a friends birthday this evening. After going to the bar and ordering drinks, we’re told to sit and theyll bring it out, it took 30 minutes to get a glass of wine. The food was very average, meals were cold, orders were stuffed up. Seated at 6:30, no meals on table till after 8. After trying to pay via eftpos for 20 minutes, our party were told to pay downstairs. When we got there they told us it had been approved and then called us back to the resturant as they discovered the transaction did not go through because of their faulty equipment. What a nightmare.
