Loaded chips were cold and staff not friendly. I had heard good things from the hotel staff. Unsure of they used real cheese or bacon at all, plastic cutlery was bent too. Dissapointing
Overall was very disappointed, the girl that took our order had a rude and uncaring attitude. We asked for 1 piece of battered fish and 1 piece of crumbed however we were given 2 pieces of battered which were under-cooked. Considering battered is in their name I would’ve thought they’d know how to cook it. Some parts of the batter were still very soggy. The chips were standard, won’t be going back.
Disappointed. We ordered grilled Red Emperor, Seafood sticks, calamari and chips. Hugely disappointed with the fish – maybe it’s our fault that we ordered grilled fish from a take away place like this but it was cold, rubbery and strangely salty. Nothing wrong with the other parts of the meal but will not be going back soon.
Yummy fresh fish n chips, one of the best I have had in QLD!!! And they make their own delicious gelato. This place is a must.
Fresh seafood perfectly cooked. Friendly service too. Will definitely be back!
