This place has definitely had a change for the best. Great prices, great food, car park, Keno and good service. Great place for a pub lunch with a mate.
AMAZING. The venue itself is a true Queenslander, with a homely feel and welcoming environment. The staff themselves were dancing around and calling customers by their names, not something you often see at you travel further into the city. The seafood buffet was amazing value for money. The oysters were freshly shucked, the prawns were better than some I have had at Samford and the options were endless in both hot and cold. The drink prices were reasonable, some even cheaper than most subarbian venues! Their monthly specials caught my eye – $4 a glass for a Kiwi Sav Blanc!!! My daughter often clubs upstairs on a Friday – I don’t get what they mean by dangerous and rough. They have more gaurds per person than anywhere else. If it was so feral, my 20 year old only daughter wouldn’t be going their and planning her week around it. If you’re a proud Aussie, like a good Aussie meal, in the amazing Aussie weather with beautiful views and food – then give Alex a shot!
