I had a meal here with my husband today and I am happy to report the food was more than impressive. However I unfortunately had to witness other staff members in what my opinion would be making a new employee feel very isolated and stressed. I am unsure how long this employee has worked at the cafe but as someone who has children who have been and gone in many different jobs its disappointing to see managers and other staff members scolding instead of encouraging. It is a very daunting thing to start a new position in a workplace and maybe some kindness could go a long way to see improvement.
Tables are very close together so can feel very squishy. Book on weekends for large groups. Food and drinks are nice but quite expensive for what you get. More options for dietary requirements would be helpful.
