We tried this place tonight, but didn’t dine in as we ordered takeaway to take to the park and watch the sunset (explains why they are in takeaway containers in the pics). Service provided by the waiter over the phone and in the restaurant was good and she was incredibly polite and well mannered. Value wise it’s spectacular, as our mains were only $12.80 each. We ordered the Chicken Katsu-Don, Yaki Fried Udon) comes with chicken) as mains, as well as side dishes of Gyoza and miso soup. Taste was better than we expected and surprisingly delicious. The decor/ambience of the restaurant itself was average. Management could greatly improve this by bringing in more ‘authentic Japanese music’ and conceal the kitchen area from customer view – as the kitchen looks a bit more of a ‘cheap takeaway’ feel.
