The pizza here was not Italian at all, very australianised – but this was fine for my friends and I! Massive sized pizza’s with generous amounts of delicious toppings. Three of us shared a giant size for $36 ($12 each) with a garlic bread to start us off and left very satisfied with our meal. Staff here are very friendly and likeable, we had great customer service. To top it off the restaurant gave off a cool surfer/ beachy vibe, staying true to its roots of Byron bay!

Earth ‘n’ Sea Pizza has closed their Coorparoo location and opened a brand new shop in Annerley. The best part for me is that this new shop delivers to my house. We had friends coming over, so I ordered a Giant Calypso Pizza – Spicy Pepperoni and Pineapple – which is about the size of a large pizza in the US. At $36 it is pretty expensive to feed 3-4 people, but the wholemeal crust is light and the pepperoni, pineapple and cheese are generous. For the kids, we got the Kids Cheese Pizza – just about the tiniest pizzas you’ve ever seen for $9.50.The pizzas taste good, but are overpriced – especially the kids. Delivery also took 70 minutes, but was told it would be 50-55.
Earth n Sea at Coolangatta was a family treat when I was a little one. We would order the Cruel Sea (seafood) and the Mullumbimby Madness (vege) and share a giant pizza. Since I found out there was an Earth n Sea nearby I’ve been wanting to take that trip down memory lane. Today was the day! This restaurant is in the same style, surf culture, even the menu and the weird characters on it are the same! We ordered a giant pizza with my two childhood loves on it (no extra charge for half and half) plus a side salad. We sat outside because there was no AC inside and at least there was a breeze outside. After a little bit the pizza came out. B was most impressed by the accuracy of the half and half, as was I. Generally there is some cross contamination but this was perfect. The pizza was on a wholemeal base which was nice, so well cooked through so no soggy base. The vege pizza was better than the seafood but i was not a fan of the cheese on either, it seemed too dense and just too much for the pizza, not a mozzarella. I think the seafood pizza could be improved by removing the cheese and having a white sauce base with parsley on top. Definitely not an Italian style pizza but filling and wholesome. The side salad was lovely and fresh with a nice dressing. A good size for two. We were both satisfied with our meal and took four pieces home for tomorrow’s breakfast. Service from both the waiters was nice and friendly.
