Finished a task in Greenslopes area and may as well made an exploration of this cafe in this morning. Located at the ground floor of a club and facing the large green area of a park, it is always an enjoyable moment to have meals or coffee at this place. Ordered a scrambled egg with toast with extra smoked salmon. Both the food and drink were impressive. Pouring technique of barista was superb to deliver me a smooth, strong and well presented coffee. Scrambled egg deserved thumb up in terms of culinary skill. Extra order of salmon came with generous portion, which deserved extra appreciation. I urge other foodies to give it a go. You would be surprised.
We waited over 90 mins for our meals. Despite having issues on a not so busy day and being compensated with a free drink it doesn’t change the fact that the kids meals came out last! For a place that is meant to be kid friendly it was a real let down seeing starving kids wait so long when all they ordered were simple quick meals. Won’t be going back or recommending this place to my mum’s group.
Came here with a friend with kid, so is awesome to have a park just next to the cafe. us there having coffee and the kids just drain their energy out. didn’t really try the food here.
Decided to have breakfast here yesterday with a friend. I ordered the eggs benny, reasonable priced, and overall a decent meal. Along with a chocolate milkshake, which seems to be, essentially, Nesquick (which i slurped up in a powdery clump) and milk, if I’d known this, I would have thought twice before agreeing to spend $6 on one. My friend ordered the calamari and chips, along with a side of onion rings and he also had the powerdy Nesquick-like milkshake. He said the onion rings were watery and undercooked, and had pulled out the onion skin from 3 or 4 pieces. He only had half the serve of calamari before complaining it was making him feel ill. So, we abandoned the idea of enjoying our meals ($60 worth between the both of us) and left. However, we didn’t make it to our car before he had the calamari force an appearance into the gutter. Service was quick, and the staff were friendly, however, will not be returning.

Sunday 9:00amHad to rip a serviette in half to share, as we were told we couldn’t have any???We Initially requested on arrival to clean our own table down. All the upstairs tables covered in dirt.Annoyingly, the later arriving patrons surrounding us, received food and drinks well before us.Eventually when food arrived to the adjoining table (we were told we couldn’t have a table number???), one of the two meals was incorrectly made.At which point we settled due to hunger and left.Disappointed…Great location, easy parking, brilliant for kids.Won’t be returning.
We have been here several times for breakfast, and every time we have had great food. The avocado and feta smash is amazing! Great spot for the kids to play while they wait for their food, which admittedly can take a while during busy times. But the staff are always friendly and it is a great location to read the paper in the sunshine. Coffee is above average, and milkshakes are great – they will split 1 adults into 2 for the kids – perfect.
Amazing venue. Food was fantastic. Staff were great with friendly & professional service. Coffee has bold intense flavours. Brewed to perfection. Pokestop too! Definately worth the visit.
