Smiling and happy staff as always. Nothing spectacular about the food, just good honest dishes, freshly prepared and tasty.A good selection of the usuals and a few such as lamb dishes a little more experimental but nevertheless good.Generous serves and reasonably priced. Better than most locally for quality.

We travel to Ascot from the East side, on a regular basis to sample the delicious goodies these guys consistently serve up! We ordered the Cashew Nut stir fry and the Pad Siew. Fresh. Full of veges. Reasonable serving size with great service. It’s a winner. 🙂

The last time I reunited with Thai food was around a month ago – Considering I don’t have Thai food often, I thought it’d be nice to rediscover those flavours again, especially when I have a dining companion joining me :)Table reserved for 2 people at 7:30pm – majority of the seatings inside were full. The alfresco area seemed relaxing, with the heater on and the natural breeze it was the perfect environment. The menu offered a vast selection of soups, curries, rice and noodle dishes, seafood and the list just went on. We decided on the Banana Leaf Chicken, Thai Lamb and a bowl of White rice to share. Food came to the table reasonably quick – The Thai Lamb was delightful, meat was soft and each piece I had was filled with flavour (salad was really fresh too). The chicken was slightly on the drier side, but to compensate that, the side sauce made it quite enjoyable (I liked the lemongrass taste it had). My dining companion and I both preferred the Thai Lamb over the Banana Leaf Chicken. Service was quick, nice experience accompanied by friendly staff :)Thank you That Thai!

Average. Based on the three dishes we ordered. Grilled Squid- Wasn’t fresh, was paper thin and when eaten with the served cucumber slices the taste was lost due to how thick the cucumber was cut. Thai Duckling- Duck was overcooked and there was nil pink to be seen anywhere. Sauce was good, however the salad was just some iceberg lettuce, radish and onion. Hot beef- best dish we ordered. Good flavour and heat. Not one staff member asked us how the meal was/is. Beers are overpriced. $7.5 for a Singah on tap. There are much better thai restaurants in the vicinity.

Great food with really friendly staff. Fast and great for takeaway. With great prices I would go there any day. Fave dish would have to be the spicy lamb and curry puff.

I have often come here for lunch and my go to favourite is the pad Thai. They do it so well. The noodles themselves are so tender and soft and the whole dish is full or flavour. They offer a good lunch special and I would say their other dishes would come to the party well.

Go to that Thai and order the right things and you will not be disappointed. We have tried out the entire menu over the many years we’ve been going since it’s opened and have finally narrowed down our order and we cannot recommend more: curry puffs, angels wings, golden cups, chicken satay and golden bags as entrees. Mains: banana leaf chicken, prawn superb, pad see ew, pra raa lom song (I’m sure that’s not how you spell it but it’s a peanut sauce dish). The Thai salads are fantastic also. We are not a fan of their currys however. If your dining in, order a coconut drink, delicious sweet coconut juice with coconut piece in it. Great atmosphere, service is always good but sometimes there is a language barrier. Parking is pretty good too, they’ve got spaces underneath or you could park in the parking spot for day time businesses I suppose if your going for dinner. Very reasonably priced too (on par with every other thai place we’ve ordered from price wise and it’s more for your money in terms of flavour that’s for sure). Great place to come with a few friends. Fabulous
